What you’ll do

  • Execute against the Strategic Marketing Plan objectives, strategies and tactics across the entire customer life cycle
  • Plan and manage market research activities within the Softeq “4 C” framework: Customer research, Competitive research, Company internal data research and Category (tech industry and domains) research
  • Support the development of the Global and Regional Marketing Plans
  • Support marketing “customers” in other departments with market research and insights to improve knowledge and decision making
  • Communicate regularly with content and digital marketing managers, account management team, business development and other internal customers
  • Manage internal and external market research personnel, vendors and contractors
  • Keep up to date on the latest market research techniques and trends and communicate relevant information to all stakeholders
  • Support planning and implementation of the company’s Account-Based Marketing strategy and programs
  • Manage the market research budget

Skills and capabilities we look for

  • B2+ English level: be an articulate and efficient communicator
  • Have experience and broad knowledge of market research sources and techniques for gathering Customer, Company, Competitive and Category insights
  • Must have the ability to synthesize market research data and information into actionable insights
  • Excellent written skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure
  • Min. 3-5 years performing similar tasks in a similar marketing and sales environment
  • Results-oriented approach and strong attention to detail
  • Creativity, curiosity, strong charisma and the temperament to work well with others; leadership by positive reinforcement
  • Passion for customers both externally and internally

The following skills would be a plus

  • Familiarity with the marketing tech stack and B2B Account-Based Marketing techniques (Hubspot or other CRM)
  • Experience with customer satisfaction measurement techniques like Net Promoter Score, Customer Satisfaction Surveys and mapping to the Customer Journey
  • Experience with research tool stacks (Discover.Org, Owler, etc.)
  • Experience working over distance with a marketing team distributed geographically
